(This has just been added to my gear bag)

Well. I hope all of you appreciate how much money I just spent to make photo's of you look about 1000% better :). This is the Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS lens, the cost is up there in the range of small cars - and should make for some really impressive photographs! It ranks up there are one of the best and most professionally used lenses on the market in the Canon family, and I have a lot of expectations for it. I've used one at work, and even though the lens is all beat up and not babied in any sense of the word, it still functions great and produces fantastic images.

Its going to be my primary portrait lens, while 50mm is about what the human eye see's, this focal length (70-200) is great for people. I decided on this lens specifically because it had a f/2.8 constant aperture, which will create a really pretty background blur (also called Bokeh). I'll get it Monday if the shipping Co. follows through, very, very excited.
