Well I'm officially sick of taking pictures of myself, Its kinda like... playing chess by yourself. There really isn't any satisfaction when you get a "good" shot, what... am I gonna give myself a little pat on the back, "Good job! I'll keep you in mind for my next shoot.." haha. Whatever, it works in a pinch, or when I'm bored out of my mind on a tuesday night (err.. wednesday morning). Time flys! Anyway, this is done by shooting my bare flash up on 1/2 power to give me a nice big light source, which normally would give you a softer light, but It kind of fell off around the edges of my face which I liked. I will hopefully get to try this with somebody soon, I get a little frustrated when my models are busy with stuff (ie Robbie: except me and him both are sick of shooting him haha)... oh well!
On another note, I've set up a way to pay for you all to pay me :) via Paypal! (You know, the safe and secure way to buy things online!) Basically the way it works is you contact me to schedule an appointment and shoot time, and once we get together and make some great photographs I'll email you a detailed invoice where you can conveniently pay by credit card through Paypal. Plain and simple, no funny business. Sounds like a good deal to me!

Josh and Danae
A quick thank you goes out to Josh and Danae for happily being my subjects on the 8th, this was a fun little shoot, albeit short.... But beyond that that, I'm quite happy with my new little umbrella - it was a little expensive, which I will blame on Pauls Photo for their markup craziness. But I guess you get what you pay for, and I'm happy with the results so far :). My next purchase should be a... well I'm not entirely sure, I suppose some pocket wizard flash triggers would be nice, and maybe a new Canon flash with TTL support... I'm getting a little north of my price range now. Enough of that.

Well Its official, I now have a design that I feel good enough about to actually print. I have been trying a bunch of different designs, and they were all kind of complicated... I just decided on a really simple layout. Hopefully it will turn out great on 2x3.5's! I have a few other idea's too, different front photos and the like. Anyway, I guess I should be putting my blog address on there too huh... interesting!
